The short version

VIZXA is a local-first desktop app. Your screen recordings, projects and edits never leave your machine. We collect the minimum needed to run licensing, updates and crash reports.

What we collect

• License data: an email address (if you activate a license), a one-way device hash used for device binding, app version and license status. We cannot reconstruct your device identity from the hash.
• Update checks: the app contacts our update server to learn the latest version. No personal data is sent.
• Crash reports: when a crash happens you may be asked to send a report containing the error stack and app version. Sending is optional.
• Account email: if you use sign-in features in the user center, we store your email address to send magic-link emails.

What we never collect

We do not collect your recordings, screenshots, project files, camera or microphone data, browsing history, or keystrokes. Caption recognition runs entirely offline on your machine.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your license and account data at any time by writing to support@vizxa.com. We will respond within 30 days.
